H-O-H
Blog : 25* (Release No : 23)
Thursday's eve! OMR. Josh of Weekend as always. In front of my cab there illuminated bright red lights in some 50 different spots. After few minutes appeared the green arrow. Shrewd driver easily overtook the vehicles and reached the toll. Passing the toll an adamant water tank truck hindered the way to bypass him. While my cab driver showed his anxiety by horning I noticed the leakage in its pipe. Probably we would have chased him for 3 minutes to overtake parallely about 100 litres of water should've drained from the leakage. I know, I have seen water tank trucks pulling out the water from suburbs bore now getting wasted in the roads of cultural capital goaded me. Sounds so stereotypical yet needs attention!!!! Here I come with this blog.
#WeneedJallikattu #GovtPleaseSaveOurTNfarmers #BanPeta #WeDoJallikattu #NewbornIndia2017 #ModiFails #Chinamma
Yes of course our people found time for this too #BairavaPongal
Yep! Those are quite a few trended topics since the birth of 2017. And now as we heading Pongal this fever (Jallikattu) has started. It is more of like an exam fever and is occasional (unfortunately it is easily curable) Adding to this seasonal flu, CGs announcement over making Pongal as optional holiday stirred the crucible raising the temperature. Hours after Modi sarkar revoked the circular that just infuriated the social media. A day after these topsy-turvy proclamations TN government woke on a sudden and made comforting voice on the issue just in order to ease the tension in the state.
As we know, we have been seeing for the past 2 years the governments in the state and the centre evading their role in saving jallikattu pointing supreme court's judgment. In all ways these ruling parties are trying to elude their responsibility so expecting any favours from them is lucidly imprudent.
Today SC conformed its state over resolving jallikattu issue before pongal. It says that the judgement can't be revealed before 25th of Jan but the same court has found time for closing the cockfight case granting permission for the same to our nearby state. We the largest democracy have given the extreme supremacy to this SC with a moral conviction on chief justice crew. Insanely all we gained is a deceit!! This deception from SC is incredible.
These series of events aroused the youngsters getting them to roads protesting against Peta, against governments, against a judge's ridiculing comment on jallikattu and they were in the news this whole week.
About 150 farmers died since Jan 1 2017 the central and state governments failed to take necessary actions to save the farmers was the previous week's headlines.
I relate the above cases and that's the essence for this blog.
Let's forget Peta and SC's ban for a moment. Consider a village conducting jallikattu for centuries being oppressed by drought and the villagers striving for their daily needs. In this scenario does the people in that village think of jallikattu ? This is the exact situation in most of the villages today.
Jallikattu is our sport, is our pride, and of course is our prodigy and we should not allow some xyz corp to ban it but we must also ensure that there has to be someone taking part in it. Now jallikattu previously there were numerous sports that extincted yet we wake now, better late than never!!
Now we might get together to bring back jallikattu but there won't be villages or farmers to take part in it if this situation continues. So the foremost thing to be accomplished is to save our farmers, to save the backbone of this great nation. Yes its our duty and it's cumbrous amidst these irresponsible governments and sluggish judicial system.
As a state that gets no support from the centre I think it's the right time for us to act autonomously. First let's save our farmers, as most of them die due to one prime reason, I repeat one prime reason- drought!!!! let's begin water conservation. Let's start this conservation from our home. Let's stand together supporting farmers.
There were times they used to say "Conserve water for future generations" it has changed now!!! "Conserve water for tomorrow's need" I think this modern day adage is enough for one to think and act wisely.
Now check the blog's title _/|\_ Conserve water!!! Conserve farmers!!! Jallikattu happens automatically then.
The topics were been so realistic and socialistic for a couple of blogs just for a change will be dealing a fantasy in the upcoming one. How it would be if there's an "Electoral college system in India" ?? 😂😂😂
PS : Please don't ask questions like why do we need this if we have Rajya sabha and Lok sabha already 😂 and What power does the prez has in Republic India😂 Anyways Pranab or Mitron wont award me for this 😂
PPS : Will try Seeya on Republic day😂😂😂😂
பொங்கல் மற்றும் ஷங்கராந்தி திருநாள் வாழ்த்துகள்!!!!!
